Knicks Star Says He's All Good After Scary Injury

Jalen Brunson Returns to Start Game 3

OG Anunoby Out vs. Knicks

Jalen Brunson will play and start Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, the New York Knicks announced. Brunson was injured in the fourth quarter of Game 2 after taking an elbow to the face from Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley. He was diagnosed with a concussion and did not return to the game. Brunson was cleared to play after passing the NBA's concussion protocol.

Brunson is averaging 20.1 points, 6.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game in the playoffs. He is the Knicks' leading scorer and has been a key contributor to their success this season. Brunson's return will be a big boost for the Knicks, who are looking to tie the series at 1-1.

The Knicks will also be without OG Anunoby, who is dealing with a left ankle sprain. Anunoby is averaging 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in the playoffs. He is a key defender for the Cavaliers and his absence will be a big loss.
