Burnley reintroduces historic logo

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of their 1959-60 First Division title win

The new logo will be used on the club's shirts, website, and other merchandise

Burnley Football Club has reintroduced the logo used from 1960 to 1969 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their 1959-60 First Division title win. The new logo will be used on the club's shirts, website, and other merchandise.

The logo incorporates the club's traditional claret and blue colors and features a stork holding a Lacy knot, which represents two prominent families in Burnley's history. The club's crest is based on the Town of Burnley's coat of arms.

Burnley won the First Division title in 1960, their first major trophy since 1921. The club was relegated to the Second Division in 1976 and has not returned to the top flight since.

The reintroduction of the historic logo is a reminder of Burnley's proud history and will no doubt be welcomed by fans of the club.
