2024 WNBA Draft Set for April 15th
Wings Acquire Sky's First-Round Pick
The 2024 WNBA Draft will take place on Monday, April 15, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
The Dallas Wings have acquired the Chicago Sky's first-round pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. The Wings traded their 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick to the Sky for the pick.
Caitlin Clark and Cameron Brink are expected to be the top two picks in the draft. Clark, a point guard from Iowa, is one of the most decorated players in college basketball history. Brink, a center from Stanford, is one of the best defensive players in the country.
The Wings have the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. They are expected to select Clark with the pick. The Sky have the No. 2 overall pick and are expected to select Brink.
