The death toll in Israeli airstrikes on the Rafah refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip has risen to 81, according to the latest figures from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). Many of those who died were burned alive inside their homes, the PRCS said.

A video circulating online shows a man holding a headless child as fire engulfs an area designated for displaced Palestinians in Rafah. The authenticity of the video has not been independently verified, but it has sparked outrage and condemnation from around the world.

The Israeli military has said that it is targeting Hamas militants in the Rafah camp, but witnesses say that the airstrikes have also killed and injured civilians.

A teenage girl who lives in the camp told Al Jazeera that her family was planning to relocate to another camp on Monday morning as the Israeli attacks had increased in intensity.

The Israeli military has said that it will continue to target Hamas militants in the Rafah camp, but has called on civilians to evacuate the area.

The United Nations has condemned the Israeli airstrikes, calling them a "grave violation of international law." The UN has also called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
